Democrat Jamaal Bowman was censured by the House for his criminal act. Bowman falsely pulling a fire alarm and plead guilty to it. That's a crime and there's no place in politics for criminals, right? Then again, how many of them are breaking other laws that no one knows about? That's a discussion for another time. Bowman said on X: "It’s painfully obvious to myself, my colleagues, and the American people, that the Republican party is deeply unserious. Their censure resolution against me demonstrates their inability to govern. I want to thank all of my colleagues who came out and supported me this evening."  Here's what Trending Politics wrote about Jamaal Bowman being censured by the House:

House Speaker Mike Johnson is wasting no time putting his authority to work over Democratic colleagues who behave as if the rules of civilian life don’t apply to them. The lower body on Wednesday adopted a resolution officially censuring Congressman Jamaal Bowman (D-NY) for unlawfully pulling a fire alarm during an October session in order to delay a vote on a possible government shutdown. Bowman, who originally denied culpability and blamed the mishap on looking for a door handle, was hit with criminal charges and later surrendered to Washington, D.C. police.
