It’s Not Flock’s Fault
Since all of the evidence against Ms. Kyle, from the traffic stop to her statement in the deputy’s vehicle, are based on this illegal search, it is all considered fruit of the poisonous tree. Without the illegal search, there would have been no traffic stop to begin with. That is why Ms. Kyle’s requisition to suppress the evidence was granted.
