Elon Musk, Vivek Ramaswamy, and many supporters of the MAGA movement have engaged in a heated discussion over H-1B visas. President-elect Donald Trump finally responded to it. Trump told the New York Post, during a phone interview, that he supports the H-1B visas.

Trump was quoted saying: “I’ve always liked the visas, I have always been in favor of the visas. That’s why we have them. I have many H-1B visas on my properties. I’ve been a believer in H-1B. I have used it many times. It’s a great program.

Mainstream media has been using the heated discussions to say there’s a civil war between MAGA folks and Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy. However, there isn’t a civil war going on at all. It’s just a big discussion that a lot of people are talking about.

Just because people don’t agree on things, does that mean they’re engaged in a verbal civil war? Not really, but the mainstream media is becoming more irrelevant on a daily basis, so they need something to get a few clicks. Not every conversation will consist of people agreeing on every little thing, but not every disagreement means there’s a civil war brewing. Mainstream media should do better.

The best part of a disagreement is that it allows others to view things from a new perspective and it can spark new ideas. These new ideas could be better than what we had before and they could help our country advance even further. Tough discussions can sometimes bring optimal results.
