Travis Kelce in heated exchange with Andy Reid

The Kansas City Chiefs continue their dramatic season with an altercation between tight end Travis Kelce and head coach Andy Reid.

The Chiefs, coming off their home loss last week to the Philadelphia Eagles, who pretty much own the Chiefs at this point – almost started 0-3. But the Chiefs were able to beat the NY Giants 22-9 on the road.

When asked about the incident, Coach Andy Reid handled it with class like he always does. He said, “I love Travis’s passion, so I’m OK with that… We didn’t have enough of it that second quarter. It wasn’t where we needed to be. So within reason, he knows. He knows when to back off the pedal and he knows when to push it, too. That’s the part I love about him. I mean, the guy’s all in. Just sometimes I have to be the policeman.”

Reid continued, “He’s a passionate guy, and I love that part… I’ve been through a lot of things with him, so that’s all part of it. I love that he loves to play the game, that’s what I love. And it’s an emotional game, so I’ll take it.”

What did Travis Kelce say about it? Well, maybe he cried on Taylor Swift’s shoulder that night. We don’t really care. We’re Eagles fans. Go Birds!
