‘The Five’ is thriving without Geraldo Rivera, new ratings show

Liberal host Geraldo Rivera got fired from ‘The Five’ back in July and now it seems like ‘The Five’ is doing a lot better without him. Geraldo was the liberal host who often got himself into verbal spats with other hosts because of his different views, some of which seemed purposely over the top.

Rivera mentioned a ‘toxic relationship’ that he had with a co-host, but wouldn’t name them. Nevertheless, it didn’t matter because ‘The Five’ just got some very good ratings and Fox News needed this since they parted ways with Tucker Carlson.

Western Journal reported on the newfound ratings success for ‘The Five’ saying the following in their media news report:

On Wednesday, TV Newser released the latest viewership numbers for the top cable news channels: Fox News, CNN, and MSNBC.

“The Five” easily came out on top as the number-one show on cable news, with 2,728,000 total viewers, followed by “Watters” with 2,490,000 viewers and “Hannity” with 2,238,000 viewers.

No show on CNN or MSNBC came even close to those numbers.

Some viewers believe the relationship with Greg Gutfeld could have played part in Geraldo being fired. This video shows Greg Gutfeld clashing with Geraldo Rivera on video. WATCH THE VIDEO BELOW:
