Texas Governor Greg Abbott announced that Texas will take ‘unprecedented actions’ to combat President Joe Biden’s failing border policies and anticipated surge of migrants along the United States-Mexico border. One of those actions is to send charter buses filled with undocumented immigrants to Washington, DC, in hopes to send Joe Biden a message.

Abbott said “the federal government is planning for up to 18,000 illegal immigrants crossing per day. We have potentially more people who will be crossing our border illegally by the end of this year than live in Los Angeles.”
Futher reported by CBS: “Other announced actions include “enhanced safety inspections of vehicles” crossing Texas points of entry, boat blockades in the Rio Grande River, razor wire deployed at “lower-water crossings and high-traffic areas” and the National Guard beginning “mass-migration rehearsals.” Abbott, a Republican, also directed the Texas Division of Emergency Management to begin the process of coordinating charter buses to take migrants to D.C.”
The Biden administration will be able to more immediately address the needs of the people that they are allowing to come across our border,” Abbott said during a news conference, flanked by Texas Department of Public Safety and other officials.
Abbott’s move is in response to the end of Title-42, an order issued under the Donald Trump administration that allowed the United States immigration officials to quickly remove migrants and asylum-seekers.
As of now, vice president Kamala Harris has been completely ineffective in her role as the ‘border czar’ and many Republicans want her removed from the post, suggesting she is incapable of completing the task to a satisfactory level.
