Owner of Trump-themed restaurant arrested, faces deportation, calls charges ‘90% untrue’

The owner of the Trump Burger fast food eatery was recently arrested by ICE and faces deportation. The owner, Roland Mehrez Beainy, opened Trump Burger restaurant in Houston and much to his dismay, is now facing deportation after failing to leave the U.S. on time due to President Donald Trump’s movement on mass deportations.

News reports stated that ICE confirmed Beainy, 28, came Lebanon in 2019 on a non-immigrant visitor visa but failed to deport as required by February 12, 2024.

Beainy was arrested on May 16, 2025 and placed into immigration proceedings. An immigration judge granted him bond back on June 13 and could be deported as soon as this fall.

However, there’s more to the story than illegal immigration.

Another report stated that Beainy was accused of having an assault charge and trying to set up a fake marriage to become a permanent resident. Beainy’s family members called it a “sham.” Homeland Security says there’s no evidence that Beainy and the woman he wanted to marry never lived under the same roof.

Beainy says the charges against him are “90% untrue” and his immigration hearing is scheduled for November 18, 2025.
