Kamala Harris hosted party with drag queen now accused of multiple crimes

Democrats sure aren’t bringing their A game to the world, that’s for sure. Kamala Harris hosted a party with a drag queen who’s now accused of sexually assaulting 4-5 people according to major industry outlets like Rolling Stone and JustJared. The drag queen, known as Shangela, is a guy who dresses up as a woman and he was part of the party that Kamala Harris hosted in 2022. Fast forward to today and the same drag queen is now accused of sexually assaulting multiple people.

Where and when was the party that Kamala Harris was in contact with this person? It took place in or around June of 2022 at Kamala Harris’ very own house. It was a Pride Month thing, according to People:

Vice President Kamala Harris invited [DJ] Pierce to speak as Shangela on Tuesday evening at a Pride Month event she hosted at her home, also known as Number One Observatory Circle. According to Pierce, the evening itself marked the first time a VP has hosted a Pride event at the residence.

What are the accusations against Pierce, aka, Shangela? Rolling Stone painted a pretty picture of this guy in their article, then many paragraphs later finally revealing the accusations. The report said:

But behind the curtain — in hotel rooms and apartments — four people allege to Rolling Stone that Darius Jeremy (“DJ”) Pierce, the man behind the famous drag persona, either sexually assaulted them or attempted to have sex with them when they were too inebriated to consent. A fifth person claims Pierce attempted anal penetration in a bathroom closet despite rejecting his advances.

The allegations against the 43-year-old Pierce mirror elements laid out in a recently settled civil lawsuit against the drag star by a former colleague. (Neither Drag Race nor RuPaul are implicated in any of Rolling Stone‘s findings.) According to court documents, Pierce was accused of raping a production assistant from We’re Here — a television show bringing one-night-only drag shows to small communities across the U.S. — after purchasing several drinks for them.

Pierce’s lawyer send a letter to Rolling Stone, saying the accusations are false and not supported by any evidence or reliable witness testimony. The letter also suggested that Pierce denies ever having nonconsensual relations and that there’s problems with the stories told by the accusers.

Rolling Stone also said the investigations started back in November of 2022 and these accusations appear to stem from that. So what really happened? No one knows except for the accusers and the drag queen who was at Kamala Harris’ house. I suppose more details will come out about this story. Either they end up settling it outside of court or it goes to court. Either way, there’s multiple accusers. It’s very bizarre that he was at Kamala Harris’ house. It’s unclear if she’ll make a statement of any kind. She was seen smiling in a photograph with him from the party.
