The illegal immigrant from Guatemala who allegedly set a woman on fire in a New York subway has faced his charges. His name is Sebastion Zapeta-Calil, 33, and he’ll be charged with first and second-degree murder and arson. He was here in America after he had previously been deported. There are sources that say the migrant was drunk and/or high and may not even remember committing the act.

This subway crime took place hours before Gov. Hochul released a video claiming the subways in New York are safer. Hochul was slammed all over social media and called a hypocrite for what she did in the video. Other violent crimes happened on the subways that day, making Hochul face more scrutiny.
