Elizabeth Warren accepted $822,573 from sources linked to pharmaceutical companies

Democrat Senator Elizabeth Warren is once again the center of a scandal and being exposed, a second time, for taking $822,573 from pharmaceutical companies, although the money was sent indirectly.

The top-Democrat was called out for taking the money during an encounter seen in a hallway. Elizabeth Warren said during that encounter, “Check my website, I don’t take contributions from Big Pharma executives. I don’t take any corporate PAC money.”

A little bit of research reveals that Sen. Elizabeth Warren DID take a LOT of money from pharmaceutical companies, just not directly as one might say.

OpenSecrets reported: “Top 20 Member Recipients of Money from Pharmaceuticals / Health Products, 2019-2020. IMPORTANT: This money comes from employees or PACs affiliated with the industry, not from the companies themselves.”

Bernie Sanders leads the way, taking the most money at $1,417.633. Elizabeth Warren was second, taking $822,573 from pharmaceutical companies.

The same money was once again brought up by RFK Jr. as he made comments about it to Warren’s face, during a hearing. RFK Jr. said: “I know you’ve taken $855,000 from pharmaceutical companies, Senator.”

The exact amount is up for debate as one source said $822,573 and RFK Jr said $855,000 – both numbers being fairly close in the grand scheme of things. Watch the video below:
