CEO steals hat from young boy at tennis match, then Internet gets involved

Polish CEO Piotr Szczerek snatched a signed hat from a young boy after Polish tennis star Kamil Majchrzak had given it to the child. Szczerek was subject to tons of angry comments calling him disgusting and a bully.

Majchrzak won an impressive five-set battle against the Russian athlete Karen Khachanov, in what he would describe as the greatest victory of his career.

Eager to celebrate his triumph, Majchrzak had approached his audience to sign commemorative items.

In the viral video, Majchrzak is seen offering his hat to a child in the front row, after which an adult man snatches the hat away.

The boy is seen distressed over the act, but Majchrzak had already turned away.

“After the match I didn’t record that my cap didn’t get to the boy.” Majchrzak later wrote on Instagram, once the outrage reached his social page.

Wishing to right the great injustice, Majchrzak also later requested assistance in finding the boy so that he could finally give him the memorabilia. “Hey guys, could you help me find the kid from my match?”

Backed by the enthusiasm of passionate users, Majchrzak had successfully contacted the boy and delivered the gift. “I am so impressed by the power of the internet,” Majchrzak praised his virtual assistants.

Szczerek eventually apologized, but it came after the Internet pressured him into it. Watch the video of it below:
