Candace Owens might have been caught off-guard when former President Donald Trump suggested that vaccines work and he’s gotten his booster shot. Owens is now carrying on by insulting his age of 75 and suggesting that he doesn’t know how to use the Internet for his own research, despite the fact that Trump is neither a medical or science professional, and likely is following the advice of his personal doctors.
She said in a video: “People oftentimes forget that, like, how old Trump is… He comes from a generation — I’ve seen a lot of people who are older, have the exact same perspective, like, they came from a time before TV, before internet, before being able to conduct independent research. And everything they read to them that was in a newspaper that was pitched to them, they believed that that was a reality.”
However, it appears that she’s backtracking on her end and trying to recover from when Trump openly supported the vaccines right in front of her. She could be doing this because she has constantly spoken about the vaccines in a negative way and suggested she will never get one.
Trump openly stated that many people who get the vaccines, if they get sick, they don’t end up in the hospital or dying – which is a vast improvement for anyone who may get sick with the Coronavirus. Anything that can improve one’s chances of both survival and avoiding a lengthy and expensive hospital stay should be looked at in a good way, which is mostly the point Donald Trump was trying to make.
Trump supports the science and vaccines, but he does not think it should be forced on people. This is because Trump understands people better than many think. Trump realized that when you try to force things on people, there’s a natural and human instinct to often rebel – something that we see in many teenagers across the nation when they simply don’t want to listen to their parents, even though their parents are right 99/100 times.
However, Trump’s words clashed with Candace Owens and her personal agenda, so it made her look bad and now she appears to be targeting Trump to try and recover from that.
In the grand scheme of things, Trump is right. We have a virus. We have a shot that helps keep us out of the hospital or worse. Common sense says taking it is a great idea. Social media and mainstream media and pundits like Candace Owens – who is no more of a medical doctor than Jill Biden, should not be wasting their time talking good or bad about the vaccines. If they don’t like them, then just shut the hell up.
The mainstream media, political pundits, and social media combined have made us handle this pandemic in the absolute dumbest way possible.
The only people who WE should talk to about this is our own personal doctors. Don’t listen to CNN, Fox News, or anyone on the Internet. CALL YOUR OWN DOCTORS and talk to them. You trusted them this long, so they’re not going to steer you in the wrong direction one way or the other.
When it comes to Democrats pushing mandates – Democrats are doing it wrong. They don’t know how to connect with people. They are out of touch and constantly seen making rules and then breaking them, which makes the rest of us look at them and think “ah, this is all bullshi*t.”
When a Democrat makes a mask mandate, then they should never be seen without one. I don’t care if they’re in the bathroom dropping a number two, they should have one on. Why? Because you LEAD BY EXAMPLE.
Democrats have another big problem – they are trying to be in your face about getting the vaccine but it’s in such an off-putting way that people are simply rebelling because they’re Democrats and don’t want this nonsense.
If Democrats wanted to convince more people, they would find a better way to promote their thoughts on the vaccine because mandates isn’t it. People don’t like being told what to do. They want the choice, or at least the illusion of choice.
Republicans are doing it much better. Guys like Ron DeSantis, Donald Trump, Ted Cruz – they openly support the vaccines but they are telling you, that YOU need to go get it on your own. YOU need to be the one in charge. YOU need to do the right thing and if you don’t, the consequences are on you.
One thing to keep in mind in all of this is that medical science is at an all time great – we’ve never had better technology than right now and if we can get a “shot” that keeps symptoms mild and people out of the hospital from a stupid virus that originated you know where, then absolutely you should get it.
Candace always throws the big pharma rhetoric in there – and she’s right that there are big pharma scandals probably going on, but also keep in mind that scientists and doctors have licenses to lose and this shot doesn’t actually cost us anything.
We’ve had over
deaths in America from this virus. That’s a big number… people like Candace Owens need to stop wasting their time talking bad about a little shot that might actually save someone one day.Are all vaccines perfect? No, literally no vaccine is 100% perfect. The ones we have for coronavirus may get breakthrough infections, but those people are getting extremely mild symptoms in many case.
I would know, because I had it. I sat home with a very mild fever and cough for two days. I watched Netflix. I got work done. I did every piece of laundry I was slacking on.
You know what – that shot probably kept me out of the hospital racking up bills or being put in a ventilator.
I’d rather stay home for a few days with mild symptoms than act like a dingbat conspiracy theorist getting tubed on a hospital bed.
I lost respect for people like Candace Owens who are simply dividing the country on science when they have literally no medical or science background and having absolutely no idea what they’re talking about.
If you don’t want the shot, then that’s fine, but is it necessary to keep talking about it all day? No, it’s not, and she’s just doing it for “likes” and attention at this point.
Anyone else who got it, or didn’t get it, is just going about their day living their life as normally as possible, without trying to divide the country so they can get a little bit of attention on social media.
You know what I say? Make your own choices as always, but call your own doctors and listen to them.
This was never meant to be political, but it turned out that way, and it’s the stupidest way a planet could tackle a pandemic.
I’ll tell ya this, if we didn’t have social media and everyone arguing about this, we’d probably be done with the pandemic by now.
Think about it.
