The Biden administration got court ordered to stop selling materials used for a border ahead of Donald Trump’s coming inauguration. Biden’s administration agreed to the order and will stop selling or disposing of materials that were slated to be used to construct the border wall along Texas and Mexico. This will allow Donald Trump to use the materials if he decides to.

Biden’s admin, who’s dealing with an illegal immigrant crisis over the last four years, has been auctioning the border wall materials since at least last year. Biden could have used them to build the wall and help strengthen the border, but they decided to auction things off via marketplaces.

Trump wanted Biden’s admin to stop, because it was a waste of the materials that already had a designated use. Fox News added more information:

“We have successfully blocked the Biden Administration from disposing of any further border wall materials before President Trump takes office,” [Texas Attorney General Ken] Paxton said.

“This follows our major victory forcing Biden to build the wall, and we will hold his Administration accountable for illegally subverting our Nation’s border security until their very last day in power, especially where their actions are clearly motivated by a desire to thwart President-elect Trump’s immigration agenda,” he added.

In a news release, Paxton’s office said that if the Biden administration disposes of border wall materials purchased with funds subject to an injunction in violation of a court order, “it would constitute unethical and sanctionable conduct and officials could be held in contempt of court.”

Texans likely want the border to be more secure, considering the amount of people who’ve flooded the border – with some of them committing horrific crimes against Americans.
