Nancy Pelosi faced direct opposition from GOP on House Floor (video)

Republican Rep. Madison Cawthorn targeted Deomcrat House Speaker Nancy Pelosi during a speech on the House Floor. Cawthorn stated: “You might amend a bill, but you’ll never amend biology. Science is not Burger King. You can’t just have it your way…take notes Madame Speaker, I’m about to define what a woman is for you.”
WATCH it happen:

Cawthorn has targeted Nancy Pelosi in previous attempts as well. Back in September, 2021, he, or his staffer, posted on his GOV webpage a post called “Congressman Cawthorn Rejects Pelosi Rebuke, Calls on Her to Cosponsor Resolution Condemning All Violence” and it stated the following:
Today, U.S. Congressman Madison Cawthorn (NC-11) condemned Speaker Pelosi’s gross misinterpretation of his calls to end political violence and called on her to cosponsor his House Resolution condemning political violence in all forms.
On Sunday, during comments made at a local GOP event, Congressman Cawthorn asserted that Americans should never take up arms against one another like too many failed states around the world have done.
He warned that our elections must be secure and protected because political violence is never acceptable.
“Speaker Pelosi took advantage of a left-wing media hit job and lied about my words for her gross political agenda. She dangerously and deliberately chose to mischaracterize my comments as violent speech when I clearly called for violence not to occur. Political violence in America is never acceptable, and I warned in my comments that elections must be secure so others do not erroneously choose that path of violence.
I am calling on Speaker Pelosi today to cosponsor my House Resolution condemning political violence in all forms. If she is seeking to condemn violent speech, rhetoric, and actions, she should look no further than in her own party,” said Congressman Madison Cawthorn.
