Colorado Democrat state Sen. Faith Winter was legally drunk when she died in a fiery crash on Interstate 25 the night before Thanksgiving, authorities said. Winter’s blood alcohol level measured 0.185% at the time of the wreck — more than twice Colorado’s legal driving limit of 0.08% — according to the Arapahoe County Coroner’s Office. The 54-year-old Broomfield lawmaker died Nov. 26 after plowing into a stopped Ford F-350 in the left lane of northbound I-25 south of Denver, the Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office said in a press release Friday.
