Budget proposal shows she even proposes cutting benefits of “non citizen who could be working but are choosing not to.”
Maine senate chose to keep full benefits for illegals.
“Janet Mills, as radical and far left as she is, at least had the sense to ask work-eligible non-citizens to pay their fair share and stop mooching off working Mainers.
She actually proposed cutting the food stamp benefits for these 5,000 work-eligible non-citizens. Again, non-citizens who could be working, but are choosing not to work. I know, it's shocking that the governor actually proposed cutting these benefits.
But even that small step toward fiscal sanity was a bridge too far for the socialist democrats from Portland who control the Maine legislature.
Senate President Mattie Daughtry, majority leader Teresa Pierce, House Speaker Ryan Fecteau, majority leader Matt Moonen, you know these people. They refused to reduce the welfare benefits even slightly for the non-working non-citizens.”
“Don't let any Democrat, whether they're a candidate for the Maine legislature, a talking head on CNN, or a supposed oyster man with a Nazi tattoo tell you that illegal aliens aren't getting welfare benefits. It's just not true.”
