Shooting victim Sophia Forchas welcomed back after "miraculous" recovery

Sophia Forchas, a 12-year-old girl, survived a mass shooting at Annunciation Catholic Church in Minneapolis on August 27, 2025. She was released from the hospital in October, with her family and doctors describing her recovery as "miraculous." She was welcomed back to school with open arms and love.
