A New York Times report reveals how girls as young as 11 are being forced to solicit customers for s-x. S-x traffickers are recruiting children online before trafficking them along the stretch in Los Angeles.
Thanks to CA Senator Scott Wiener's Senate Bill 357, which was signed into law by Gavin Newsom, law enforcement can't do much.
"Five years ago, uniformed officers could have pulled up to a corner and apprehended a whole group of girls who were dressed in lingerie, hoping to recover minors among them," the NYT reported. "But a 2022 bill repealed that law."
