A democrat refused to leave the Immigration and Customs Enforcement office and the cops got the last laugh. Rep. Luis Gutierrez didn't want to leave! He's part of this hilarious movement where people "Resist" and typically end up getting arrested and laughed at.
He's apparently mad about Trump's immigration policy and the fact that ICE has to actually do their job and deport criminal illegal aliens.
This activist found himself arrested with handcuffs on his wrists. He resistance turned into an arrest. What a great example for everyone.
Rep. Luis Gutierrez was handcuffed by federal police in Chicago Monday after he refused to leave an Immigration and Customs Enforcement office. He was there for a meeting with ICE officials and immigration activists, lawyers, community leaders, and elected officials. But it didn’t work out the way Gutierrez wanted, so he threw a little temper tantrum.
“They were asking about specific cases and about the general conduct of ICE and deportations,” Doug Rivlin, Gutierrez’s director of communications, said. “The congressman has decided that he did not get the answers he was looking for from the ICE regional director and he’s going to be staying inside until he gets answers, even if that means risking arrest.”
Is anyone else tired of watching people get themselves arrested for a publicity stunt? It doesn't get the message across. No one is looking at this guy like "oh wow, I don't like ICE either anymore" but instead, people are saying "look at the dolt democrat" and laughing.
When will people realize that publicity stunts getting yourself arrested are pointless? They don't do anything but make you have a criminal record. Do something positive and people will notice and remember you.
Do something stupid, like get arrested because you're having a temper tantrum and "sit in" like a little child, then people will scold you.
This man is being laughed at. At least I think it's funny.
Some role model for kids, that guy has it all!Posted in Crime on March 14, 2017 and filed under democrat, trump, ice.
