Kid Rock has been banned from performing in California because Governor Gavin Newsom thinks his music is “horrific.”<\/p>\n
Newsom’s office posted a statement on X saying: “BECAUSE OF HIS HORRIFIC MUSIC, CALIFORNIA WILL INDEFINITELY SUSPEND KID ROCK FROM PERFORMING IN THE GOLDEN STATE. YOU\u2019RE WELCOME! \u2014 GCN”<\/p>\n
The announcement came shortly after late-night television host Jimmy Kimmel’s show was indefinitely suspended by ABC. Some social media users have questioned the legality and seriousness of the ban as it appears to be satirical, at best.<\/p>\n
