The University did not reveal the identity of the dismissed faculty member, but following Charlie Kirk\u2019s assassination, School of Medicine Associate Professor Anna Kenney made a Facebook post describing the right-wing figure as a \u201cdisgusting individual\u201d and commented \u201cgood riddance\u201d in response to another post about the incident.<\/p>\n
Anna Kenney’s profile has been removed from the School of Medicine’s website and now redirects to a 404 page<\/a>. It’s believed that Anna Kenney was the professor who was fired.<\/p>\n Joon Lee, the Executive Vice President of Health Affairs, condemned using social media to glorify violence, referring to anyone who celebrated the death of Charlie Kirk<\/a>.
