A Lancashire councillor has resigned after posting that the assassination of right-wing US political activist Charlie Kirk was “good riddance.”<\/p>\n
Fiona Wild, who served as an independent councillor for Lanehead ward on Burnley Council, deleted the post which also claimed the “not… very nice man made himself a target and brought this on himself.”<\/p>\n
Kirk, a prominent conservative media figure and close ally of former President Donald Trump, was 31-years-old when he was shot at a college in Utah<\/a> on Wednesday.
