Versey Spell, 75, was reported missing in October 2022. Her remains were ultimately discovered three weeks ago in a container placed in the yard of a vacant church in the 3400 block of Garrison Boulevard, which is about six blocks from her home.Police said the remains were taken to the Medical Examiner&#8217;s Office for an autopsy. The office ruled the remains to be human and the cause of death a homicide.
