Just another day, another meltdown for Whoopi Goldberg, co-host of ‘The View’ as she began shouting at a Conservative guest this time around. Tara Setmayer, a former Republican who may still have some Conservative values, pushed back during a conversation about gun control. Whoopi did not like that and started shouting at her.

\nSetmayer said during the conversation: “Listen, I understand that, but it\u2019s not as easy when you have a country that has more guns than people… You\u2019re not going to be able to just ban all the guns.
\nWhoopi replied: “It is easy, but the things that you could say to people that we don\u2019t say on this show, the things you can wish on people that we don\u2019t wish on this show to people, because we know. We\u2019ve all met people who have had to deal with the death of a loved one at the hands of a gun. And you can say \u2018well, I wish they had more mental health checking,\u2019 but people who don\u2019t see the need to remove one gun, one gun! The people who don\u2019t see a need to remove that will never see the need to make sure that people get the help.”
\nSetmayer suggested that banning certain guns would not stop gun violence or mass shootings, as people could do that with essentially any weapon.
\nWhoopi sounded irritated, saying: “A handgun does not turn people to dust. Start with the first thing that can eliminate a child, you know how big a child\u2019s body is?\u201d
\nAt some point, Setmayer pointed out that there are still tons of shootings without using an AR style gun, many with handguns in cities like Chicago. What should they do about that? She also suggested that people would just get an AR on the black market, suggesting that criminals wouldn’t follow the laws anyway.
\n“It\u2019s one gun out of the peripheral of guns that are out there. So what happens to the black market, then? So let\u2019s say we ban the AR-15. AR-15s are the most popular weapon in this country.”
\nGoldberg lashed out: \u201cWell, you know what? I\u2019ll tell you what happens. The same thing that’s being threatened to women who decide \u2018maybe I need to go talk to somebody about an abortion,\u2019 what do they say? You got an AR-15, we will put your ass in jail.”
\nGoldberg continued her rant, lashing out at the NRA as well. “And I don\u2019t care, NRA, you\u2019ve got to give that gun up. You can have other yee-haw guns, whatever you want. The AR-15 is not a hunting gun. It is not a gun where you\u2019re going to go out and shoot your dinner. This gun is meant to kill people. That\u2019s what it\u2019s for, and you can\u2019t have it anymore.”
