Back in February he wrote a statement slamming Joe Biden&#8217;s policies.<br \/>\nSimone said: &#8220;<em>Here are just a few examples: <\/em><em>In 1975, Biden opposed giving aid to the South Vietnamese government during its war against the North, ensuring the victory of a brutal regime and causing a mass exodus of\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/borgenproject.org\/vietnamese-boat-people\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">refugees<\/a>.<\/em><br \/>\n<em>In 1991, Biden opposed the Gulf War, one of the most successful military campaigns in American history. Not only did he later regret his congressional vote, but\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.newsweek.com\/joe-biden-pushed-saddam-hussein-taken-down-before-iraq-war-1480860\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">in 1998, he criticized George H. W. Bush<\/a>\u00a0for not deposing Saddam Hussein, calling that decision a \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/theintercept.com\/empire-politician\/biden-walks-back-opposition-gulf-war\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">fundamental mistake<\/a>.\u201d<\/em><br \/>\n<em>In 2003, Biden supported the Iraq War\u2014another congressional vote he later regretted.<\/em><br \/>\n<em>In 2007, he opposed President George W. Bush\u2019s new counterinsurgency strategy and surge in troops in Iraq, calling it a \u201ctragic mistake.\u201d In fact, the surge led to stunning progress, including dramatic drops in civilian deaths and sectarian violence.<\/em><br \/>\n<em>In December 2011, President Barack Obama and Vice President Biden withdrew America\u2019s much-scaled-down troop presence in Iraq; the former had declared Iraq to be \u201csovereign, stable, and self-reliant,\u201d and the latter had predicted that Iraq \u201ccould be one of the great achievements of this administration.\u201d Their decision sent Iraq spiraling into sectarian violence and civil war, allowing Iran to expand its influence and opening the way for the rise of the jihadist group ISIS.<\/em><br \/>\n<em>According to Obama\u2019s memoir\u00a0A Promised Land, Biden had advised the former president to take more time before launching the raid that killed Osama bin Laden.<\/em><br \/>\n<em>Ten years ago, Biden\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/abcnews.go.com\/blogs\/politics\/2011\/12\/vp-biden-says-that-the-taliban-per-se-is-not-our-enemy\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">said in an interview<\/a> that \u201cthe Taliban per se is not our enemy.\u201d He added, \u201cIf, in fact, the Taliban is able to collapse the existing government, which is cooperating with us in keeping the bad guys from being able to do damage to us, then that becomes a problem for us.\u201d Indeed.<\/em>&#8220;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Mark Simone and Joe Concha weighs in on the Hunter Biden story and react to Elon Musk buying Twitter on &#8216;Kudlow.&#8217; WATCH THE VIDEO: When it comes to Hunter Biden&#8217;s laptop, it&#8217;s unknown what the investigation into that will be.
