Almost 47 percent favor ending the program.<\/em><br \/>\n<em>Thomas Bevan \u2014 a trusted political source in Washington \u2014says having to make a decision on the policy could not have come at a worse time.<\/em><br \/>\n<em>\u201cWhen you look across all of the data that is available, including President Biden\u2019s approval rating \u2014 which will correlate most directly to the outcome in November \u2014 it is all doom and gloom for the Democrats,\u201d Bevan said Wednesday night during an episode of \u201cOn Balance with Leland Vittert\u201d.<\/em><br \/>\n<em>\u201cThe only good news for them is that election is six months away,\u201d he continued.<\/em><br \/>\n<em>Former President Donald Trump implemented the policy in March 2020 as a way to manage migrant crossings.
