This situation was already legally settled, but the public may just be seeing this video for the first time after CNN found a way to obtain it and confirm it. The footage, compiled from multiple camera angles dated March 5, 2016, appears to show the rapper, producer and business mogul during an incident that, according to Ventura’s complaint, occurred at the now-closed InterContinental Hotel in Century City, Los Angeles. CNN verified the location based on publicly available photos of the former hotel’s interior.
Cassie Ventura settled this issue with Sean Combs, but it’s unclear how much money she was given. CNN reached out to her and asked for a comment on the video, but she declined the opportunity to talk about it.
