“One of the other things I’m going to do”: Trump has big plans for Blue State takeover

Former President Donald Trump said he has big plans to takeover some Democrat-run Blue states that Republicans have struggled with for a while. Democrats stand in the way, but Trump’s plans could provide some hope for a Republican takeover that could help if Trump is the GOP nominee. As of now, states like New Jersey, New York, New Mexico, Minnesota, and Virginia have held a Democratic stronghold – but if Trump rallies strong enough, he could make the changes happen.

It remains unclear who the GOP nominee will be, but Donald Trump seems to be a major front-runner with people like Ron DeSantis dropping out. Chris Christie dropped out too, but it’s clear he never had a chance and most people are wondering why he runs for president in the first place when he can’t get any support.

When it comes to Trump’s plan to takeover the Blue states, he wants to do rallies and thinks he has a chance. Breitbart reported on this in a political news article:

Trump said he thinks he can compete in a number of states that Republicans have not won in many years in presidential elections. He said he plans to do rallies in these states, and work to try to win them—but maybe not as hard as the traditional battleground states like Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, Michigan, Nevada, Arizona, and Georgia. Trump even threw out a possible idea of renting out the iconic Madison Square Garden to hold a rally in the heart of Manhattan in New York City.

“One of the other things I’m going to do — and I may be foolish in doing it — is I’m going to make a heavy play for New York, heavy play for New Jersey, heavy play for Virginia, heavy play for New Mexico, and a heavy play for a state that hasn’t been won in years, Minnesota,” Trump said in the more than two-hour-long interview at his luxurious seaside Mar-a-Lago resort here.

Can Donald Trump turn the Blue states Red? If there’s one big thing about Trump, it’s that he clearly has a lot of fans, especially at sports and UFC events. Even The Rock mentioned Trump’s big audience cheers.
