Aaron Rodgers tested positive for COVID-19, out for week 9, allegedly lied about vax status

Aaron Rodgers tested positive for COVID-19, according to ESPN. The Green Bay Packers quarterback will not play against the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday, per reports.

Rodgers has not been vaccinated, but allegedly said he was. Rodgers must quarantine for a least ten days if he tests positive, according to league regulations.

Prior to the start of training camp, the 37-year-old received alternative therapy. Rogers asked the NFL to treat him the same as someone who had received one of the approved vaccinations. The league refused, deeming Rogers unvaccinated.

Rodgers is said to use masking measures when interacting with players and coaches inside the team’s headquarters at Lambeau Field, according to sources. For his weekly and postgame press conferences, Rodgers, on the other hand, does not wear a mask.

On Wednesday, Packers coach Matt LaFleur refused to comment on the vaccination status of any of his players or coaches.

Colin Cowherd weighs in on Aaron Rodgers being called a liar for not getting vaccinated, despite saying he was.
