Neil Cavuto is officially leaving Fox News after 28 years. He’s been a host with the network since they launched in 1996. Cavuto will leave the ‘Your World’ show TODAY, according to NBC News.

According to reports, Fox News released a statement saying: “Neil Cavuto’s illustrious career has been a master class in journalism and we’re extremely proud of his incredible 28-year run with Fox News Media… His programs have defined business news and set the standard for the entire industry. We wish him a heartfelt farewell and all the best on his next chapter.

Cavuto seemed to talk about Trump quite a bit in recent years. And Trump would talk about him as well. It seems the two didn’t really like each other that much. NBC’s report on Neil Cavuto leaving Fox News also said the following:

Cavuto was a mainstay at the network, hosting three shows across Fox News and sister channel Fox Business Network, totaling 12 hours of programming per week. Beyond anchoring daily programs “Your World” and “Cavuto: Coast to Coast,” and weekend show “Cavuto Live,” the 66-year-old served as a senior vice president of Fox Business Network.

With Cavuto goes one of the network’s last remaining on-air stars to publicly clash with Donald Trump — at a time when Fox has dominated the cable news landscape in part because of its appeal to MAGA conservative viewers.
