In a recent interview, Khloé Kardashian stated she can handle the online scrutiny, but one claim that irritates her is a rumor that she’s had 12 face transplants.
“It did use to bother me when people were [saying] I’ve had 12 face transplants.” ‘Oh, my God, I have?’ I exclaim. “That’s crazy,” she stated Tuesday on Amanda Hirsch’s “Not Skinny But Not Fat” podcast.
Kardashian, 37, claimed she had only had “one nose job” and couldn’t understand where the myth came from.
“It didn’t bother me. It offended me,” she said. “I just couldn’t figure out why people thought that. I’ve had one nose job that I love. Like, I want everyone to know. … I don’t care to lie about it.”
“But the transplant thing, I just want to understand why,” the “Kardashians” actress continued, before adding, “That sounds amazing later in life, but now, I’m good.”
While Kardashian claims that the allegations do not upset her, she is bothered by how the public compared her to her siblings, as reported.
“Either with … the old me versus what I look like now … or even just comparing me to my sisters all the time. It’s like, you guys, this is what we look like, so I feel like you should know by now, and enough,” she added. “Oh, my God, I hear it all the time.”
However, the Hulu host stated that she is willing to bear the criticism for her sisters.
“I’ll take it, and I do think I can take it, but I don’t know the rhyme or reason,” she remarked when asked why she receives more online abuse than her popular siblings.
She also despises the erroneous myth that O.J. Simpson is her real dad.
“Come up with a new thing. I get it,” she responded, laughing.
Kardashian has already addressed the face transplant myth, assuring Andy Cohen in April 2021 that she’s always been transparent about her cosmetic treatment.
“Everybody gets so upset, like, why don’t I talk about it? Nobody’s ever asked me. You’re the first person in an interview that’s ever asked me about my nose,” she commented. “I’ve done, sure, injections — not really Botox. I’ve responded poorly to Botox.”
The reality star also revealed that she had her nose job a few weeks before the first birthday of her now-4-year-old daughter True.
